A grasshopper weather-vane made of copper and gold leaf, with glass doorknobs for eyes, swings in the breeze atop the bell-tower of Faneuil Hall, the building that served as a meeting place where the likes of Samuel Adams made impassioned speeches against the British. The weathervane is the sole remaining detail from the original building.
